Cancellation & Refund Policy

(Umrah & Hajj Tours)

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the rules and conditions under which bookings made through Ihram App may be cancelled and refunds may be issued. By completing a booking on the Platform, you agree to the terms described below.


1. General Principles

  • Ihram App acts as a digital booking and management platform only and is not a tour operator.
  • All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted through the Platform or official Ihram App support channels.
  • Refund eligibility depends on:
    • The cancellation policy selected for the tour
    • The time remaining before the tour start date
    • Whether third-party services (flights, hotels, visas, transportation) have already been confirmed or paid
  • Certain services are inherently non-refundable, including government fees, visas, airline tickets, and non-refundable hotel reservations.

2. Cancellation Policies

Each tour listed on Ihram App is assigned a specific cancellation policy, which is clearly displayed to the user before booking.

2.1 Flexible Policy

  • Full refund if cancelled 7 or more days before the tour start date
  • No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before the start date
  • Visa fees, government charges, service fees, and processing costs may remain non-refundable

2.2 Moderate Policy

  • Full refund if cancelled 14 or more days before the tour start date
  • 50% refund if cancelled 7–13 days before the start date
  • No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before the start date

2.3 Strict Policy

  • Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before the tour start date
  • No refund if cancelled less than 30 days before the start date

2.4 Non-Refundable Policy

  • No refunds are available after booking confirmation
  • This policy usually applies to promotional, discounted, or last-minute offers

3. Non-Refundable Items

Regardless of the selected cancellation policy, the following items are non-refundable once processed:

  • Visa applications and government fees
  • Issued airline tickets
  • Non-refundable hotel reservations
  • Administrative and processing fees
  • Insurance fees (if applicable)

These amounts will be deducted from any eligible refund.


4. Partial Refunds

  • If a tour includes multiple components and only some of them are refundable, refunds are calculated solely for unused refundable services
  • The tour operator may deduct confirmed or non-recoverable costs

5. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to appear at the departure point or tour start without prior cancellation is considered a no-show
  • No refunds are issued in no-show cases

6. Changes or Cancellations by the Operator

  • If a tour operator cancels or significantly modifies a tour due to operational reasons, the traveler may be entitled to:
    • A full refund, or
    • An alternative tour or date (subject to availability)
  • Ihram App is not responsible for additional personal expenses such as passport fees, missed connections, or accommodation outside the tour package

7. Force Majeure

Refunds and compensation are not guaranteed in force majeure situations, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government or border restrictions
  • Visa refusals
  • Airline cancellations or delays
  • Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies
  • Political unrest or security issues

In such cases, refunds depend solely on amounts recoverable from third-party service providers.


8. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Bank and payment provider processing times may vary and are outside the Platform’s control

9. Disclaimer of Responsibility

  • Ihram App operates solely as a booking and management platform
  • Final refund decisions depend on the tour operator’s policies and third-party service providers
  • The Platform is not liable for losses exceeding the refunded amount
